We are happy to announce our second 2nd trek of April edition.
Trek to Anthargange
Age group 9-15 years
Anthargange is situated about 80 km away from Bangalore, is well known for its Natural Volcanic Rock Formation.
Anthargange is about 4 km from Kolar, a small town once well known for its gold mines. It is equally a religious spot as well as mesmerizing scenic area filled with adventurous caves. In two words – Caves & Temples. The hill range is about 4021 ft high. It’s one of the pilgrimage sites that will enlighten you with the vibes. The temple is sacred and has a water pool that origins in the spring, “Antharganga” means ‘innerspring’. It will take you almost one hour from the temple to reach the peak.
Trek Duration: 3 hrs
Length: 5 KM
Time: 5 AM to 3 PM
Anchor: Jathin Ganpathy has been working with children for 10+ years in the field of outdoor experiential learning and has been working as an Elementary Montessori Guide in schools. He enjoys trekking and cycling in the outdoors and is currently learning skateboarding.
He has been certified by the mountaineering institute at Aleo, Himachal Pradesh and is a wilderness first aid responder from NOLS.
