“Set the children free, let them have fair play, let them run out when it is raining, take off their shoes when they find pools of water, and when the grass of the meadow is damp with dew let them runabout with their bare feet and trample on it; let them rest quietly when the trees invite them to sleep in its shade; let them shout out and laugh when the sun wakes them up in the morning as it wakes up every other living creature that divides it’s day between waking and sleeping”
Dr. Maria Montessori, Discovery of the Child

Jathin Ganapathi has worked with children for ten years in the outdoors with various organizations and schools.

He is a certified mountaineer and a wilderness first responder. He has organized and facilitated many treks, expeditions and camps in various settings. He has recently completed the Montessori Elementary course from IMTC-Central, which has helped him to explore more appropriate learning in the outdoors.

He feels there is a lot for the child to experience and learn from being in natural environments, if given the space and time, which will help the child to also be free and fearless.
