A one-year online Montessori Preprimary Course for teachers, educators and parents to understand the whole child in the age group, of 2 ½ yrs to 6 yrs, the first plane of development. The curriculum covers the syllabi in most countries for Pre KG to Class 1.

Diploma Course:

The full course is for ten months. The course content covers three years of preschool or Early Childhood Education – ECE – in five domains: Practical Life Exercises, Sensory Development, Language, Mathematics and Culture. Theory, as Child Development is seen as a critical component for educators and parents of the young. This will qualify the applicant to work with children from 2 ½ to 6 years old.         

2 ½ to 6 years is the plane for physical and psychological growth and is an important and vigorous phase of development, laying the foundation for all areas of the child’s growth and development, which includes the physical, cognitive, emotional and social facets. A prepared environment will fulfill the needs of the child at this stage along with freedom and independence to explore and experience constructive activities.                            

Audit Course:

Coordinators and heads of schools could attend the course to be able to lead, plan relevant changes, along with their teachers. They could audit the course, which requires a sixty percentage attendance, participate in theory lectures and two other chosen subjects, introductions to all subject areas, write assignments and appear for the theory examination. Those who do the audit course are not required to attend the practical demonstrations or the viva voce practical examinations.

Attendance Course:

To attend 90% of the classes or a fraction thereof, will be mentioned in the certificate.  Min 50% attendance required to get attendance certificate. They could attend all the classes of the course. Presentation notes will be shared for all the subjects. No Practical Examination and appear for the theory examination.

Objectives:

The training programme is being organised to offer an opportunity to set up schools or bring in changes at home or in schools or learning  environments systematically and with ease, in tune with current ideas of education world-wide. The participating educators could implement changes methodically from the next academic year after preparing themselves.

Children’s capabilities in any sphere, be it academics or social skills or emotional maturity are often underestimated. The course would help educators, including parents, ensure that they are effective in helping children to learn and live their life spontaneously…
