Why This Workshop Matters
The years from birth to age three are a period of rapid, physical and psychological development – what Maria Montessori described as the unconscious absorbent phase, when children learn directly through movement, the senses, and interaction with the environment, which includes people. This workshop equips you with the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to support this crucial stage intentionally and respectfully.
By the end of the workshop, you will be able to prepare child-centred environments, understand developmental motivations like movement and language, and foster independence, confidence, and problem-solving skills in the child, all rooted in Montessori philosophy and practice.
