From the feedback of the first programme, it was felt that a session on follow-up activities in a Montessori elementary environment may help to address many of the requirements expressed. All the culture subjects were taken up to indicate how these can be done, starting with the enquiry of the child.
Nivedita Ram has a PhD in biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and has worked as a researcher with the M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation. She recently completed the Montessori elementary course from IMTC-Central. She finds herself happily aligned with the Montessori approach because she believes that the world is our classroom, and that we start exploring and learning from it, the moment we are born.
