Application Fee
A one-year online blended Montessori Elementary program for teachers, educators and parents to understand the whole child in the age group, 6 yrs to 12 yrs, the second plane of development. The curriculum covers the syllabi in most countries for Class 1 to 8, the Elementary school.
Diploma Course:
The Diploma course is for 13 months. The course content covers 8 years of elementary school for 7 subjects and theory. This will qualify to work with children from 6-12 year old.
It builds a strong foundation, not only for concept learning in all subject areas but also for social development that enhances the child’s natural propensity to interact with the community and understand their larger environment.
Audit Course:
Coordinators and heads of schools could attend the course to be able to lead, plan relevant changes, along with their teachers. They could audit the course, which requires a sixty percentage attendance, participate in theory lectures and two other chosen subjects, introductions to all subject areas, write assignments and appear for the theory examination. Those who do the audit course are not required to attend the practical demonstrations or the viva voce practical examinations.
Attendance Course:
To attend 90% of the classes or a fraction thereof, will be mentioned in the certificate. Min 50% attendance required to get attendance certificate. They could attend all the classes of the course. Presentation notes will be shared for all the subjects. No Practical Examination and appear for the theory examination.

The training programme is being organised to offer an opportunity to set up schools or bring in changes at home or in schools or learning environments systematically and with ease, in tune with current ideas of education world-wide. The participating educators could implement changes methodically from the next academic year after preparing themselves.
Children’s capabilities in any sphere, be it academics or social skills or emotional maturity are often underestimated. The course would help educators, including parents, ensure that they are effective in helping children to learn and live their life spontaneously…

I have already done my primary course in IMTC, Chennai. I wanted to do the elementary for a long time but couldn’t as I had so many responsibilities at home and at my school that I could stay far for a long time. The online course came as the God’s gift, but I was little reluctant at first as to how the course can be taught online, as it needs a lot of hands-on experience with the materials. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to attend this course. Though familiar with Montessori for primary, I had no clue about the Elementary program.
