Handouts will be provided\, as needed\, in the course platform. Participants who reside outside of the U.S. will receive a Kindle Version of the book (hard copy available for additional shipping costs). \n\nBesides the classes\, an hour or two per week is the time expected to work on assignments and to reflect. \n\nSessions will be recorded and uploaded to the secure class platform. As the class is designed as an experiential learning module\, attendance and participation is recommended.  A recorded version is for reference but cannot replace a live class with an inspiring educator along with the peer group of learners. \n\nA certificate of completion will be awarded at the end of the eight-week course. Therefore\, discipline is freedom”\n– J Krishnamurti \n\nLatha Rao\, Director IMTC\, Primary is presently director of training of IMTC (Indian Montessori Training Courses)\, Koramangala and IMTC\, Mangalore\, under the auspices of the Indian Montessori Centre. \nHer passion lies in creating learning environments for children that help them learn with joy. \nShe has done the primary course from Association Montessori Internationale and elementary course from Indian Montessori Centre. \nShe had the opportunity to work in the USA in a Montessori School under the teachers’ exchange programme and worked with children for the last 30 years\, including the Valley School\, one of the institutions of Krishnamurti Foundation of India. \nShe is a science graduate from the University of Madras and has done Masters in inclusive education from the University of Northampton\, UK. \nShe is always looking for opportunities to work with children and help people set up Montessori and alternative environments. She enjoys interacting with parent and teacher communities to share and help them create stimulating environments and devise strategies that nurture learning\, exploring and creativity. \nShe firmly believes that the method should be modified to fit the child and not fit the child to the method\, especially in the early years.
